    Why has windows 11 explorer gone backwards,


    It is as if a beginner has revamped it. all the useful icons such as properties, undo among others which were on the menu bar have gone making Explorer useless except for just basically viewing your programs. I hope Microsoft take heed of all the bad comments with regards to the new explorer and there are a lot. I personally have started using personally have started using XY Explorer, it is everything that explorer should be. it has all the missing shortcuts on the menu bar, plus many more and also You can have a split screen which I use a lot when copying files from one drive to another,

    Another step backwards with Explorer and Taskbar

    With Windows 11 it always seems to be 1 step forwards, 3 steps backwards. Why do "updates" actually cause more problems than they solve? Windows Explorer is still in a state of catalepsy since last year and the Taskbar icons which were "disappeared" in January have still not resurfaced. There are no fixes and no solutions. Can't Microsoft get anything right?.

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    Windows Explorer Replacement?

    are you running IE7? if not that wouold be my first suggestion,upgrade to ie7 that can fix some stability issues with windows explorer
