Windows 10: Why have all my journals dissapeared?

I have been using Microsoft journal for over a year to write my notes for school, and all my journals were present just a couple days ago when I last went on the app. I was able to restore one of my journals, however the many others I had I can't seem to be able to access as they don't show up when I go onto the app anymore. I'm not sure why this has happened. I checked for updates and there are none. I haven't had any updates on my computer or for Microsoft since before I last saw that the journals were there.

Windows Journal functionality issue

Before troubleshooting any further from here, I suggest you to check if the latest version of Windows Journal Writer application is installed in your computer.

If it still does not help, I suggest you to check if you to check if running the program in Compatibility mode helps to resolve the issue. Follow the below steps.

• 
  Right–click the icon of the program.
  
• 
  Click Properties.
  
• 
  Click Compatibility tab.
  
• 
  To run the program for a different version of Windows, check the
  Run this program in compatibility mode for box and choose from the list.
  
• 
  Click Apply.
  
• 
  Click Ok.

Windows Journal dissapeared?

Since the last update Windows Journal has become impossible to access and this is proving to be a problem for me since I had some informations saved in Windows Journal, which I now seem to have lost?

Does anyone know how to get it back? I don't even need the application back, I just want to get the stuff I had written down
