I would recommend you to go to the COD 4 website and check if your system meet the system requirement to play the game.

For now, I would suggest you to update the Display driver from Device Manager manually and check if this helps. Try the below steps:

• 
  Press (Windows key + X) and click on “Device Manager”.
  
• 
  Expand “Display Adaptor”.
  
• 
  Right click on the driver and select
  update.
  
• 
  Once update is done, restart the computer.

There’s a possibility that your user profile is already corrupted which causes the issue.
For us to isolate the issue, we will need to ask you a few questions:

• Any recent changes made prior to the issue?
• What is the make and model of your device?
• Does the same issue happen on a different user account?

thread. This will help you perform an in-place upgrade using an ISO on your device, it helps to repair any broken or corrupted system files while keeping your personal files, settings and installed applications.
