  1. Why i can’t extend my double monitor with HDR on?

Hi, I recently purchased two LG 27GR75Q indtentici monitors for use in my setup connected to a laptop MSI Creator Z16 I7-12700H and RTX 3060. I immediately connected the monitors to the laptop, which remains with the case closed, and it gave no problems: the screens were extended and everything was fine. Trying to enable HDR, the settings no longer allowed me to extend the 2 external monitors but only to duplicate them. Trying to remove HDR resolved the situation but I would like to find a solution by keeping HDR on. How can I do this? Thank you

    :)

HDR on HDR monitor causes issue on secondary, non-HDR monitor

I have an Aorus AD27QD (HDR) monitor as my primary display and an ultrawide 34UM88-P (Non-HDR) as my secondary. If HDR is enabled in windows and I go to a full screen video on the non-HDR monitor after a few seconds it will flicker blue then become severely
washed out. Coming out of full screen fixes this. If HDR is not enabled full screen shows the colors perfectly normally.

Secondarily, with windows HDR on on the Aorus, the colors dim pretty drastically. HDR content great but anything that isnt HDR is dim enough to make me question if my brightness is turned down. (Its not, its 90/100). The white of a plain browser window
seems so dim its nearly grey. I also tested this on what I know is a particularly vibrant (non-HDR) . HDR on? Terrible and muted. HDR off? Bright and vibrant.

I have played with in-monitor settings, nvidia control panel, factory reset of monitor, basically everything I can think of. Everything points to it being a windows issue.

I also tried out the suggestions from this post. And it pointed me to this
    set of OS release notes
which didnt solve my issue either.

I could really use some help because I am really feeling like I wasted my money on this monitor.

    PC:

    i5 7600k

    GTX 1080ti

    16GB 3000Hz Corsair RAM

Windows, CPU and GPU on latest drivers available.

    Monitors:

    LG 34UM88-P (HDMI)

    Aorus AD27QD (DisplayPort)

  3. Double Monitor Setup is not connecting

    Hi Yuri,

To setup dual monitors, I suggest you to press Windows + P keys
and select Extend or the required option and check for status. If you are still unable to setup dual monitor, suggest you to update the Display Adapter driver by following the steps provided below and check for status.

    • Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
    • Expand Display Adapters.
    • Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
    • Follow the on-screen prompts to update the driver.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted on the status for further assistance.

  4. Why i can’t extend my double monitor with HDR on?

Windows 10 will not extend screen to second monitor on the only port where HDR works.

This morning, my second monitor suddenly stopped working. The monitor has multiple ports and the other ones work just fine besides the fact that HDR is unable to be turned on, it just automatically disables itself. This is the 2nd time this has happened
and the first time it just fixed itself after a week. I have every windows "update" installed and all of my drivers are up to date, I've updated everything and reinstalled my drivers, I've done everything that you can try from googling "unable to extend screen
windows 10" and "unable to turn on HDR windows 10". Spent a bunch of money on a good monitor and a pc to deal with this bullsh*t.
