Windows 10: Why I can't log in to my messenger, however im checking all the google said

I have a nokia 2690 phone and my phones e-mail and IM Messenger is not working whenever i try to log in to my a/c it shows communication error. Please help any suggestion?

In addition, you can also try to check the Default App for Protocol to prioritize Messenger as the default. To do this, follow the steps listed below:

• Type Default app settings in the Search bar.
• Click Choose default apps by protocol.
• Look for the Messenger app then click on it.

Add instant messenger friends on the phone

I just want to add Windows Live Messenger contact to my list of messaging contacts in the Messaging app. Queen_LadyBug suggested I try Skype.



I tried IM+ but it doesn't support contact management for Windows Live Messenger.



It shouldn't be this hard to add a new Messenger contact from the Windows Phone.
