Windows 10: Why I can't use or set any other sign-in options?

Hello, first of all thank you for seeing and replying to my question. I use a laptop under the brand INFINIX and have been loving the fingerprint sign in option. However, a few months ago, I don't know how, but the processor was broken and needed to be changed. I did so and unable to access any other sign in options/Windows Hello ever since. I thought maybe it's because I'm using Windows 10 because before, the moment I bought the laptop I immediately downloaded and installed Windows 11. But I don't want to download and install it again due to the suspicion that my processor was broken because

my sign in options doesn"t open in settings.

Hii, my sign in options doesn"t open in settings. everything else works fine in settings. i just want to change sign in from password to passcode . It was working very good before. After new update in last month, it stopped working and after update it
asked me to relogin but did not gave me the option to set 4 digit passcode .

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.
