    ACTIVATION OF WINDOWS 10

    I HAVE UPGRADED TO WINDOWS 10 BEFORE 29TH JULY 2016 UNDER FREE UPGRADE WINDOWS 10 PROGRAM.

    NOW I AM GETTING A MESSAGE TO ACTIVATE WINDOWS 10 OR ELSE IT WILL GET EXPIRE BY 2 MAY 2017.

    THE FREE UPGRADE WAS FOR LIFE TIME SO WHY AM I GETTING THIS MESSAGE?

    My Insider Preview [test/BETA] says 5/1/2017 [May 1, 2017] at 4:59PM but fails to mention the Time Zone. Maybe PST since that's where Microsoft is?

    My RTM/Release version has no such date.

    I see you are using Windows 10 Education. Activation can work differently for the Education edition.
