Windows 10: Why i need Admin premissions to open a 3th party App?

So, Basically my brothers computer recently have a problem witch if i want to start a program with double-click it displays on the cursor the Working In the background little animation comes up, and nothing happens. When i Right Click and press “Run As Administrator” Like normal its asks for elevated permissions and i click yes its opens the program! And Another bug in discord when i click a link nothing happens. And like if a program triggers to open a webpage like for google login its just doesn’t happens. So pls help

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

3th party live tile updating not working after update to 7.8

What you say makes sense. On the other hand it feels strange that all my apps used to work before update, but on the other hand if *all* apps would fail, there should be a louder scream going on..



Can you recommend a 3th party app (really does not matter what is does) that you know it should work on 800. If that one also fails, I guess it's time for hard reset..

 

Good LAN party games?

However, I found Swat4 to actually be a pretty fun LAN game, especially at smaller LAN parties.
