Windows 10: Why I'm hearing notification sound from other account?

When my wife gets a skype message I hear the notification sound when I'm logged in in Windows. is this a windows bug? our family is always singed in and is very annoying for me to hear sound notifications from the others accounts when I'm working.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

As per the description I understand that you are unable to hear the email notification sound.

I suggest you to try the following steps and check if it helps:

• 
  Go to Control Panel Items
  
• 
  Click on Sound.
  
• 
  Click on Sounds Tab.
  
• 
  Click on Desktop Mail Notification.
  
• 
  Click TEST.
  
• 
  Click OK.
  

And check if you are able to hear the email notification sound.

To change notification sounds

• 
  In the App list, tap Settings > Notifications + actions, then tap an app from the list.
  
• 
  Tap Notification sound, and then do one of the following:
  
  • Tap Play to preview a sound, and then tap the name of the sound you want to use.
  • If you don’t want to hear a sound for a notification, tap None.
