Windows 10: why in windows 11 i have a background dim

Hello in windows 11 am having a background dimthe screen becomes very dark, but when i point to battery tray in lower right corner it got bright againI attached a video recording of my situation link belowDoes anyone knows why this happens? and how to fix it?Note: my laptop is hp pavilion x360 14 inch with intel iris xe video

This is a windows feature. I enabled it when I went through the setup on my new laptop. Was about a month ago. I did the setup of windows 10 and then downloaded and installed Windows 11."there is this windows 10 feature that allows you to "focus" on one window at a time, and dims the background windows" since the initial setup and then the install of windows 11 I cannot find the feature now. It dims my desktop as well

the quote from my initial e-mail was from someone who had my problem but he was using an HP laptop. Mine is not an HP so his solution will not work for me.

I have the same question as this but I do not use an HP computer mine is an Asus. "Ok so here's the thing, there is this windows 10 feature that allows you to "focus" on one window at a time, and dims the background windows. An example would be, I have 3 windows open and none of them are full screen. I click on one window, and the rest of the background windows dim in order to bring optimal focus to the currently active window - kind of like a video, movie theatre, focus setting. The problem is, I turned on this feature, and now cannot find how to turn it off, nor know the name of it. I'm sure I'm overlooking where I need to go but yet here we are. If anyone could assist me with turning this feature off, I would gladly appreciate it!!!

I would suggest you first try to Disable adaptive brightness. Please follow the steps below carefully:

1. Click the taskbar button for Windows 11’s Search tool.

2. Enter the keyword edit power plan within the search box.

3. Click Edit power plan to bring up the Edit Power Plan Control Panel applet.

4. Click the Change advanced power settings option.

5. Double-click Display in the Power Options window.

6. Then double-click Enable adaptive brightness.

7. Toggle off both the On battery and Plugged in adaptive brightness settings.

8. Press the Apply button on the Power Options window.

9. Click OK to exit to close the Power Options window.
