    So I was trying to dual boot windows 11 on my asus tuf laptop. I made a seperate 220 GB partition using disk management, formatted the usb and used the windows media creation tool to flash it and added the "ei.cfg" file in the sources folder so i could choose the os type.All was going well until I booted from the usb and didnt see my ssd present, followed some other guide and installed intel rapid storage drivers and installed them in windows setup. Saw the drive and all its partitions, selected the correct partition and proceeded with the install. There was an error at the installing system/w

    Error 0xc0000034 is displayed when either the bootmgr file is corrupt or missing or the BCD (Boot Configuration Data) is corrupt or missing. We would like to know more about the issue that you are encountering. Please provide the following

    • Were there any changes made on your computer before this issue came up?
    • Do you get the same error code 0xc0000034?

    Hi there, and thanks in advance for your help.

    I am using a Lenovo Ideapad 310-15ISK (model name 80SM) running Windows 10.

    I am receiving an error on boot 'Your PC/Device needs to be repaired

    The Boot Configuration Data for your PC is missing or contains errors.

    File: \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD
    Error code: 0xc0000034'

    I hadn't made an image backup of Windows 10 on this device before this error but I have used a family members HP PC to create a USB image of windows 10. I am not sure what my next step is after making this backup to restore the file, and I'm not well versed in windows repair.
