    Why is blocking unwanted emails so difficult / not possible on the Microsoft mail app?


    I'm using the default mail app that came with the computer as my main email app, and I constantly get junk mail from social media services and stores throughout the day that I don't care about. For some reason, Microsoft has decided to provide NO option to block them, or at least one that's buried under several other options that I have been unable to locate. I have been looking for a way to block emails for almost half an hour and I've turned up empty handed. Where is this option, if one even exists? Should I just switch to Outlook?

    Is there a way to block emails in the Live Mail app?

    Hi,

    Sorry in advance if this has already been asked, but I couldn't find a similar question on the forums.
    I can't find a way to block emails in the Live mail app (I'm running Windows 10 Home). Right clicking an email opens a menu but there's no option to add to a block list.

    Why is blocking unwanted emails so difficult / not possible on the Microsoft mail app?

    Mail app routing some email

    I understand that the Mail app is a very basic mail client with no capability to create rules and route unwanted email to the junk folder. However, some of my incoming unwanted email is automatically routed to the junk folder. How is this possible ? (Oh, how I miss WLM)
