Windows 10: Why is Bluetooth disappearing EVERY SINGLE UPDATE!

So I have a Lenovo 700-25ish. I have the Qualcomm BT driver. There has been issues ever since WIN 10 came out and every update it gets messed up. I am sooo sick and tired of spending hours fixing something that I should NEVER have to deal with. I know the answer is to switch back to a MAC (I have LINUX also loaded as second OS, but LINUX is not an optimal daily OS for simple uses as it has quirks left and right as well but at least it's freaking free!)


So does anyone have "the final solution"?. please dont tell me to go to device manager and then to services blah blah blah. I can read the other posts and have done this crap many times. At the moment I am using a BT dongle which doesn't have all the same integration features and I should NOT have to do this.


So wishing upon a start I know, but anyone? Bueller ...Bueller..

  Did you checked whether the Bluetooth device is listed under hidden devices in Device manager?
  
• 
  Have you checked whether the Bluetooth driver is listed under installed programs under Programs and features? (As you have reinstalled the Bluetooth.)
  
• 
  Does the Bluetooth disappeared after you have started to use Wacom Bluetooth keyboard?
  

Note:

• 
  In device manager, click on "view" tab and select "show hidden devices" and check whether Bluetooth device/driver is listed.
  
• 
  To check the drivers installed in Programs and features, Press
  Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Programs and features and check whether the Bluetooth driver is installed.
  

Until you get back to us with the required information, follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1:

I would suggest you check if Bluetooth Support service is started.

• 
  Press Windows + R
  keys on the keyboard, type services.msc
  and press OK.
  
• 
  Now, find Bluetooth Support Service
  and start it
  
• 
  Double click on the Bluetooth Support Service
  set the startup type as Automatic.
  

Step 2:

Follow the steps to run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter and check if you are able to fix the issue.

• 
  Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select
  Control Panel
  
• 
  Type Troubleshooting in the search bar on the
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on View all on the left navigation pane.
  
• 
  Click on Hardware and devices.
  
• 
  Click on Advanced on the Hardware and devices
  dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).
  
• 
  Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the
  Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

Bluetooth disappeared

Hi,

This error may be caused by a corrupted Bluetooth driver in your device. To help you fix this, go to Device Manager
to ensure that you have the latest Bluetooth driver installed on your PC.

• Type Device Manager in the search box on the taskbar. Click it from the list of results, and then expand
  Bluetooth.
• Right-click the Bluetooth radio, then select Properties.
  Select Driver tab then click on Update Driver.

In case that Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can check the manufacturer's website and follow the instructions there.

After updating your drivers, you will need to pair again your Bluetooth headphones on your PC.
