    Why is CompatTelRunner.exe always using so much CPU?


    In the task manager the description is "Microsoft Compatibility Telemetry." We recently switched to Microsoft Teams, and it's making the audio skip. It's hard to understand people. I miss using Skype.

    No, I did not. I bought Windows 10 retail and installed it from disc. Which is why this annoys me. Why is it running if it serves no purpose to me?
