Windows 10: why is everything grey

    why is everything grey


    i pressed some kind of hot key witch has turned everything grey I've looked at every fix i could find over the the update drivers because know it was something that i pressed and I've spent a hour trying to find a answer that's already here but i couldn't i know its not to do with grey scale or themes I'm pretty sure its not to do with contrast and if it is to do with saturation witch i don't think so i don't know how its really annoy and i cant play any competitive game like this. any help would be appreciated its all this monotone like colours

    Windows 10 Windows Installer (msiserver) greyed out

    I have tried to un-grey the properties in Windows Installer which is continually showing as 'running' but nothing is being installed. When I do try and update I get the 'another installation is happening' error message. It's set to manual. I've clicked
    on 'more actions' and it is still greyed out. Any other suggestions as at the moment I can't update anything.

    Colors looking grey in Windows 10

    Hi,



    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



    I understand that the colors look grey on your computer. I would suggest you to check the color filters in Settings and see if that helps. Kindly, refer the steps mentioned below:



    1. Press Windows key + U, to open
      Ease of Access Settings      .
    2. Now, select Color filters from the left pane.
    3. Under Use color filters, toggle the switch to
      off for Turn on color filters.
    4. Clear the check box for Allow the shortcut key to toggle filter on or off.


    Let us know how it goes.

    why is everything grey

    English (United States) for adding language is greyed.

    The step where a list of optional languages are displayed.
    The US English is presently not installed, and there is no other language except a base language which came with W10 22H2. Edit: So I just installed the US English. That is it. The US English is greyed because I took the first step of "Add Language" and forgot completing whole steps.
