Like many children, my son just had his Microsoft account hacked. Like many children, his account was "monitored" by mine with Microsoft Family Safety. And stillMy son was able to change his password to something "easy to remember", which may have helped the hacker or not, who knows?.The hacker was able to change the account's _user name_ and _email_, so that we no longer have access to the account.And both without requesting my permission. Or notifying me. Oh, and presumably the hacker's changes were from a new device, for which there was also no notification.Yes, I should have turned on tw

Family Safety Not Changing

Method 1

Now, as an initial recommendation, I suggest you to view and check the family settings for the child by signing in to the Microsoft account using a web browser.

Method 2

If it still does not help, I suggest you to remove the child account from your Microsoft Family Safety settings and check if it is the Family Safety feature which is preventing the child account to access Office products.

  http://account.microsoft.com/family and sign in with the Microsoft account of an adult in the family.
  
• 
  To remove a child, choose Remove at the top of the section labeled
