    Why is Group Policy being ignored on my Win 10 layout?


    I am trying to bring a wee bit of control back to the Win 10 Windows update process by implementing the steps I found here...

    I follow each step clearly and apply. But when I go back to my advanced Properties - it continues to look like this:

    I am struggling to understand what I may have done previously to place that "some settings are managed by your organization" tag at the top as this is the first time I have attempted to dial this service back a notch or two.

    I ran the rsop.msc applet to gather up all current GP settings I may have made - but cannot see anything that might effect Windows Update.

    Ideas?

    Windows Defender on Windows 10 Ignores GPO Settings

    Can anyone shed any light on why Windows Defender on Windows 10 Pro ignores all it's group policy settings?

    I'm trying to set the definition to check for updates every hour and to schedule a quick scan, but it just doesn't seem to want to do either.

    I've checked the RSoP and they are applying, but just being ignored.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Unable to enable real time protection in Windows Defender

    Real Time protection of Windows Defender is turned off and is not being enabled although I have enabled it in the settings, I have tried some ways but it always prompts "disabled by group policy"(cant access local group policy editor in win 10 home)
