Windows 10: Why is HP Smart installing itself on my computer?

HP Smart can apparently run an installer on your system without action of the owner that is supposed to be me. This feels strange I don't have HP products, no printers or scanners of that brand so I don't need HP Smart. I'm running the latest version of windows 11 22H2 OS Build 22621.3007 64 bits on my own build AMD 32 cores machine 128 Gb memory.I have uninstalled it but it cam back without even asking, uninstalled it again. This feels very disturbing because HP Smart can send fax forms and exchange data. So this would be the perfect trojan horse to spy on systems all over the world for R

This issue might be due to the compatibility reasons. So I suggest you install Hp media smart program or app in compatibility mode and check.

I want you install the hp smart menu from the link given below and then run the program in compatibility mode.

I suggest you perform a clean boot and try transferring the data
. Setting the system in a clean boot state will help to identify if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue.

Old HP computer...Will Vista install/run?

If it's not your own business here is my suggestion.

1) Tell him it's not viable and charge him $200
2) Move up here to WI
3) Start a business with me doing network installations
4) We make enough money to take vacations to the Caribbean when we want.
5) We send the people with computer problems to Geek Squad and still charge them for our "assessment" time.
6) We have regular Board of Director meeting that involve copious amounts of beer and Prime Rib.
7) Repeat steps 4 through 6 until we only have to do steps 4 and 6
