Windows 10: Why is it saying “Family Organizer Since 2022”?

Hey there!Kathy here. I have had my child in a family with me, and now she’s gotten older. I tried MULTIPLE times to get rid of her and me, but it’s not working. I started at the screen for at least 2 minutes and then my brain started working. It said “Kathy- Family organizer since 2022” It’s 2023 though. What am I supposed to do now? Family Organizer Leaving Family Group

• If Mother was the administrator of the Family Group, you can exit the Family Group directly, and Mother will automatically become the Family Group organizer.
  
  If you want to stay in the Family Group, you need to rejoin, either as an administrator or as a regular Family Group member.
  
  Visit Getting started with Microsoft Family Safety for more details.
  

• If Mother was already a member of the Family Group, you need to remove her from the Family Group, then add it again, and need to select "Administrator" when selecting the role.
  

Meanwhile, you can dissolve the Family Group, and then let the new organizer send an invitation to re-establish the Family Group. Visit Leave family group or remove members (microsoft.com) for more details.

Unable to remove another Family Organizer

Hi Gerald, I am , a fellow Microsoft user like you.

You cannot remove the organizer as a member. You can try to have a proper conversation with the organizer and ask to adjust the family group settings. Alternatively, you can leave the family group yourself. To leave the family group, follow these steps outlined here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-bil...

Keep in mind that if you are using a child account, you cannot leave the family group by yourself. You need to ask the adult who granted consent to remove your account from the family group.

 

Unable to remove account from microsoft family as family organizer.

I have two accounts in a Microsoft family, one as the organizer and the other with no permissions. I'm signed in to the organizer account to remove the other and it says that I can't because "Only the adult that granted consent for ______ can remove this family member. Ask the family organizer who granted ______ consent to remove ______ from the family group." The account I'm signed in as is the only other account to have been in that family and is the one that granted access for them to join. I've tried leaving as the organizer because that's supposed to delete the family group, but that just throws a vague "something went wrong" error.
