Windows 10: why is it saying long time ago in tnhe file explorer

this hurts so much when the file explorer say long time ago and dont mean it like do you think 1 year is long time ago windows ??this future makes me go back to windows 7 or 8 or 8.1 or anything else because i dont wanna live in this file explorer lie which is called long time ago please remove it or make it real like one year ago or 2 years agobecause long time ago means 6 8 years ago not 1 year it is not even one year it is like 8 months 8 months long time ago ****??

Group by date (or month or ...) instead of "A long time ago" in explorer on windows 10

There seems to be no recent, current and clear answer to the simple question:

How can I FIX* the group by feature in the explorer in windows 10 so that it is actually grouped by time units in usable form?

Current result:

• Yesterday
  
• Earlier this week
  
• A long time ago
  

Targeted result:

• 2018 August
  
• 2018 July
  
• ...
  

Or:

• 2018.05.07
  
• 2018.05.06
  
• ...
  

*I'm having a hard time believing that there is no obvious option, first and foremost because it is absolutely useless for doing actual work.

And just in case:

Did you google it? Yes:

• "Not possible" related to older Windows versions
  
• "Use the arrange by ... " related to the pictures library
  

 

Clear the 'cache' in file explorer for already used picture tags?


If you set some tags for your *.jpg pictures, the windows 10 file explorer shows them in the "details pane" on the right side.





This list can get very long and with some wrong or no longer used entries.
How can I clear this list / cache / suggestions?

Or how can I stop the file explorer to suggests already used Tags?

 

Windows 10 Home: Extremely Long Boot Times & Sometimes Not At All

Thanks for the suggestion but this didn't work. And for completing step 3 and 4 I had to reverse them and perform step 4 1st and then step 3 next. I don't know if going out of order makes a difference but the two times I'd try to do step 3, it came back with a message saying my only options were On or Off.

And just for clarification on Step 2 what kind of file did you place in the c root to take up the hiberfile space? A video file? That's what I did, specifically Back to the Future, with a little bit of wishful thinking that it would take my system back in time to a point when it was working.
