    I have a pc tower and a laptop. Both have windows 10 pro, version 1909, both have 2 hard drives (with windows on C on both). Why is it so freaking hard to get them to see each other??? I've tried everything I can find online & I see that this is a common pain in the ass problem with tons of other people. Sometimes I get lucky and see the other computer on the network, but then it goes away. And I absolutely cannot find a way to share my entire 2nd hard drive on my tower at all. It's greyed out, I've tried adding a "new" in the advanced sharing, still doesn't work. I've tried so many different ways, so many different settings that I don't know what to do. Has anyone found a foolproof way to accomplish network sharing or are we just screwed by Microsoft once again?

    Why has Windows 10 slowed my computer so much?

    If you upgraded to Win10 with MBAM installed, it's very possible that the OS upgrade messed up something with MBAM.
    (It was/is M$ "best practices" to temporarily uninstall your AV, AM and other security programs before upgrading to Win10, to minimize the chance of such corruption.)

    Either way, for starters, I suggest a proper, clean MBAM reinstall.
    I suggest carefully following ALL of the steps here: MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x.
    Pointers:
    • Please be sure you have your license info handy before you start
    • Please be sure to deactivate your account before you uninstall (dashboard > "my account" > "deactivate")
    • Please be sure to reboot when prompted by the removal tool
    • It's a good idea to reboot again after the reinstall

    Please let us know if that resolves your issue.

    Why is this windows 10 computer so damn slow.

    Shut off all the Microsoft apps & stuff you can.

    Uninstall apps if you can.

    This will take time to figure out & do.

    I got rid of or disabled a lot of Microsoft things running in the background.

    My computer runs much better now.
