Windows 10: Why is it that i had touch screen capabilities but after updating it my laptop suddenly...

My laptop was bought used but since I got it it has had touch screen capabilities, after recently updating it it says that my display doesn't have touch or pen capabilities. I also can not find the HID-Complaint Touch Screen Driver anymore.

Method 1: Check if the touch screen driver is enabled.

• In the Search bar, type Device Manager.
• Locate Human Interface Devices and look for touch screen.
  
• Right-click touch screen and check if it is enabled. If not, please enable it.

Method 2: Reinstall the touch screen driver.

• In Device Manager, go to Human Interface Devices.
• Locate touch screen again and right-click it to Uninstall
  the driver.
• Restart your PC to automatically install the driver.

Recover pointer and touch-screen capability on H-P Split

Need to recover the pointer and the touch-screen capability on my H-P Split.

When it starts up, there is no pointer, and the screen doesn't respond to touch.

Lost touch screen capability

Upon Windows 10 updates we lost touch screen capability. Please advise. Thank you.
