    Why is it that I'm beholden to the effects of Group Policy...


    ...when I'm running Windows 10 Home...? "This setting is managed by your administrator." Like hell, it is.. I'M the administrator here and I'm not able to manage ****. I can't USE Group Policy, but it sure can use me. I can't touch most of my security center, I can't run disk cleanup properly...

    GROUP POLICIES IN WINDOWS 10

    You can change Group Policies by opening Group Policy Editor first. You can open it by following these steps:

    • Log in an administrator account. If you are already logged in as an administrator, proceed to step 2.
    • Press Windows + R to open Run.
    • Type gpedit.msc and press Enter.

    After opening Group Policy Editor, you can now make the necessary changes that you want.

    Update W-10 manually
    Which got me piddling around with the whole group/ user policy crap
    I have found to get rid of the silly lock screen at startup *Party
    Did think I got rid of some of the annoying web search from the search but seems the new version does not apply to the new search box :/

    Do not search the internet is enabled but does not effect the suggestions being plastered on the search although this version does not default to a Bing search page as other prior versions,
    I can not figure out which is the suggestions for web search *Tongue

    Coming from 7 home premium that did not have group policy I find most of this group policy stuff really a weird tour Why is it that I'm beholden to the effects of Group Policy... :)
