Why is it when you purchase a genuine licence for Microsoft Office 2024, Microsoft continue to bombard you with offers trying to get you to buy Office 365, How can I remove these adds?

Today Microsoft released the puplic Beta 2 of Office 2007. It's available in English, French, German, Japanese, Spanish. After signing up on windows live, answer some questions, everyone can download the following products:

Microsoft shuts down Office Genuine Advantage program.

One has to assume. There's no way they'd make it serial-only validation (back to Office 97).

Maybe they are considering discontinuing Office for home-use so people can only use the web version. They may only be offering Office to corporate users where there's less likely to be pirate copies and Microsoft has more enforcement in making sure they are genuine (software licencing audits).


At the same time, maybe they are conceeding that OGA doesn't even put a dent in piracy so they might as well quit spending money on it.

Microsoft Windows 10 & Microsoft Office 2019 licences are available at PCWorld Software Store - discounted downloadable software. It is a matter of purchaser's money and Microsoft's reputation too if in case licences are not genuine. Can it be confirmed whether serial numbers issued
by them are genuine or not?

I would be thankful on behalf of all users of Microsoft if Microsoft itself too (in addition to replies from Microsoft Community Users) replies from replies to my question / query.
A clear (i.e. unambiguous reply) from Microsoft would definitely be helpful to Microsoft Community Users and others too.
