Hi There,I have a full description of my problem ready to post here for people to read, as per my question/title for this post. I'm having no luck on Stack Overflow getting a response, i.e. it was suggested that my question doesn't seem to be a programming question, which I think is because I'm essentially asking about, what I suspect to be a bug in the Microsoft Edge browser...I'd like to present this to you by posting my simple HTML/JavaScript test program again, please see my question/title, just here in this forum if you feel this is a reasonable place to discuss this issue. Update

Microsoft changed the Group Policies for Edge since I wrote this answer. Current Windows 10 builds don't allow you to turn off JavaScript in Edge via Group Policies.

You can change this using the Group Policy settings:

"Computer Configuration: > "Administrative Templates" > "Windows Components" > "Microsoft Edge"

The same settings can also be found under:

"User Configuration: > "Administrative Templates" > "Windows Components" > "Microsoft Edge"

• You mentioned that this problem occurred after updating, did you mean Windows update or Edge update?
  
• If this problem occurs after Windows update, do you try to go to Settings-Windows Update-Delete Updates in Update History?
  
• This problem occurs on all pages? Or only on specific pages? If it occurs on a specific page, please share the page link with me.
  
• ”I checked and they are all on.” What did you mean? Although it is shown as disabled, but you found JavaScript and cookies are on when you checked. If there is a mistake in my understanding, please correct me in the reply.
  

Please share the information with me as this will determine our next steps.

Enable JavaScript (or not) in Edge

I'm new to WindowsPhone 10, and Edge

Websites that had showed video in IE on my Windows8 phone now won't play in Edge. The website says I must enable JavaScript...I'm totally confused by everything I've read on this forum about enabling JavaScript in IE on a PC, or disabling JavaScript. Does
Edge have JavaScript enabled by default or not, and how do I enable it ??
