  2. KB5001716 doesn't show up on installed updates list

So I wish to uninstall KB5001716 win10 update but when I actually go to control panel >...>installed updates there is no such update listed there even though it is listed in update history in settings app. How am I supposed to make it show up in control panel and thus make it possible for it to be uninstalled?

    Settings App vs. Control Panel?

one day the control panel will be completely gone.

but microsoft has to take baby steps to avoid problems.

and other companys will have to convert their control panel files to work with the settings app.

Why is kb5001716 update showing up in control panel and under apps in settings?

Windows Control Panel not showing as choice

Microsoft removed this option in the Creators Update, they are phasing out the Control panel in favour of the Settings App . . .

    • Scroll down the alphabetical list of apps on your Start Menu to Windows System - Control Panel
    • Right click the Control Panel Entry and choose 'Pin to Start
    • Now you will have a tile on your Start Menu to open Control Panel
