Windows 10: Why is Microsoft emailing me bad codes?

I am trying to log in to basically any Microsoft service and I keep getting stuck in a loop. I enter my email address, clicked 'next', get told that a verification code will be emailed, click 'send code', get the email and copy/paste the code, get told "That code didn't work. Check the code and try again.".Notes:- Same thing happens when I manually type the code as opposed to copy/paste.- I've tried clearing browser cache/cookies, made sure cookies were enabled, etc...- I've tried restarting my computer.- Same results in Edge/Firefox/Brave. Luckily I discovered Chrome was still signed in to th

Cannot sign in microsoft account.

My device: Lumia 520. GDR2.
I cannot sign in my Microsoft account on my device. It didnt say any error but Microsoft account is not listed in Email and account list. When I click add button, it will show microsoft account option but after press sign in, it is still not shown in email
and account. Another problem is i cannot delete facebook account. Error code: 0x83cf1202. I have tried as suggested here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2475837/en-us#step0x83cf1202 but as my Microsoft account is not shown, I cannot do step 6.

Any suggestion?

This error code is displayed when checking email, correct?

I hope some of the first easy steps in the list can help you.

I do not like to suggest hard resets all the time to solve everything.

Unwanted codes in email messages

Thank you for posting to the forum in regards to the issue you are having with codes included in your outgoing messages. This is certainly an odd behavior. At this point I have more questions then suggestions. Please provide the following details and
we will follow up with some suggestions.

• What email service are you using when you send notice these codes, Live, Google, Outlook Exchange, etc...?
• Are the codes attached to all of your outgoing emails?
• If you send emails from another account, do you notice the same behavior?
• Do you notice the same codes when you receive an email?
• When did you first notice this behavior?
• Did anything change at that time, a new service provider, a new email provider, an update of the phone, etc...?

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or if any new information comes to light.
