    Why is my 256x256 icon, much smaller then the rest? What am i doing wrong.. [​IMG]

    I've set the icon cache in regedit to 8192 and then deleted the icon cache. Nothing.

    Windows 10 Displaying Smaller Sized Icons Despite Source Being 256x256

    Hi there,

    I like having big, detailed icons in my games folders however, Windows 10 has decided that such a luxury is absolutely not allowed. Despite the fact that I download only icons that are 256x256 or above, Windows 10 loves to RANDOMLY change icons to display the smaller version (see attached image). I have tried clearing the thumbnail cache but that only forces me to redo half of my icons because guess what? Windows 10 got mad that I was trying to escape its stupidity and reverted them to their smaller size. Sometimes I close the folder, open it, close it, and open it again to find that they decided to change in the mere seconds since I last looked in the folder. This is frustrating me to the point of anger. What is the OS doing that keeps changing my icons?
