Windows 10: Why is my Acer nitro 16 freezing and makes the disconnect sound when trying to launch games

Ive gone to google for most solutions I’ve tried -checking game files-my nvida and amd drivers-checking my system for corrupt files-redownloaded the game -re optimizing the gameBut still crashes

Acer Nitro fan sound

I have a v nitro g791 since 2015

When the laptop boot up acer dust defender work it’s normal ,but at the end ,the right fan make a grinding noise. i have this probem since april 2017.

What do you think?

Ps: -while gaming the fan work normally,no sound problem everything ok

-i clean inside the laptop there is no dust

If the connect/disconnect sounds is only happening when playing an specific game, It might be a game app or a driver issue. we suggest that you try to uninstall and reinstall the game and check if the problem persists. Check the steps provided below:

• Open the Start menu.
• Click Settings.
• Click System on the Settings menu.
• Select Apps & features from the left pane. ...
• Select an app you wish to uninstall.
• Click the Uninstall button that appears.

Make sure also that your device software drivers are updated.

In-game device disconnection sound

2. Since when are you facing this issue?

3. Did you try installing all the latest drivers from the computer manufacturer's website?

I would like to inform you that this issue you are facing might be due to Sound settings on your computer. So I would suggest you to follow below steps to make changes in Sound Settings and check.

• In search, type Sound and hit Enter.
• From the bottom panel click on Sounds.
• Under Program Events, look for Device Connect, Disconnect and Failed to Connect.
• Choose one option at a time and from the sounds option choose none.

Check if you still come across the sound.
