    Why is my actual download speed so slow when I'm supposed to be getting gigabit speed internet.


    Whenever I test my download speed online it says it can download up to 600ish mbps, but when I actually download something the download speed gets capped at around 80 mbps. I have a gigabit internet service so I should be getting download speeds to match. What do I need to do to get better download speeds?

    Slow internet speed

    I have Bell's gigabit fibe internet, which is supposed to have speed up to 1Gbps, however, since I got it, my phone and computer are really slow and I have trouble watching videos on YouTube in 240p and with my old internet that had speed of about 40 mpbs
    , I could watch 720p and 1080p without any problem, I have an Iphone 5s and my computer is a 2015 Hp so I don't think the problem should be coming from that end, any tips ? Thank you !

    I am currently using ADSL Broadband Internet Connection. I am getting Slow Internet Speed. I would like to know what can be the reasons for Slow Internet Speed. How can i increase the Broadband Internet Speed. Please help.
