    Why is my BIOS stuck in legacy mode when i TPM enabled


    I am trying to play a game using TPM 2.0 however my pc is stuck in legacy mode even though the pc has TPM 2.0 enabled and can be seen within the system information and are unsure on how to put the bios into UEFI mode or get the pc to recognise that the pc is in UEFI mode.

    Bitlocker - Win 10 - TPM 2.0 - Legacy Mode

    According to here you need to boot in UEFI to configure bitlocker then you can change to CSM.

    TPM enabled in BIOS but no device detected

    I have enabled TPM in the BIOS but it does not detect a device. Not in the BIOS or in the device manager.

    I have no security devices and it is also not listed in the system devices.

    I checked my hardware and it should be capable of tpm 2.0

    Motherboard: MSI MPG 570 Gaming Plus

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X

    I read a lot of articles about this, but in every case, the computer at least detected something to be then able to re-install a driver or something.

    If you boot into BIOS, then go to Advance - Trusted Computing, do you not find TPM or PTT listed there?

    What method did you use to install Windows 11 without TPM being enabled?
