    Why is my C drive using 100%?


    I have windows 10 and for the past few months my computer has been running at 100% disk on my C: drive trying to run Antimalware Service Executable. I have tried to clear space, clean the disk, and edit the virtual memory setting for how much is allowed. It still happens and I'm completely lost on how to fix it.

    C: Drive Admin Share Keeps Enabling

    Thank you for your response.



    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.


    • Press Windows +E,

    • Right click on C: drive.

    • Select Sharing Tab.

    • Click on Advanced Sharing.

    • Uncheck “Share this folder”.
