  1. Why is my "Commited RAM" showing e,g.:9.2 GB/63.7 GB on 32 GB RAM?

Recently upgrade my 16 GB DDR4 gaming laptop to 32 GB DDR4. I took it to a professional computer engineer to do so, so i am sure he has not done anything wrong. But as the title says, why is my 32 GB RAM showing the commited memory has a maximum of 63? Does this mean i can create a pagefile this big? If so, should i? And if its not Pagefile then why on earth is it saying it is capable of such a jump in RAM 32 GB is the maximum extended RAM my laptop can take. It is currently *Windows Managed*Any insight on this would be appreaciated.

    :)

  2. Windows 10 64-bit with 3 GB RAM

    Hi LimerOS,

My name is Fernando. I am an Independent Advisor. I am here to guide you with your question on the Windows 10 on an older computer with 3 gb RAM.

Technically you might be in spec with 3 gb RAM.

Microsoft lists the Windows 10 minimum hardware requirements as:

Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor or SoC.

RAM: 1 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 2 GB for 64-bit.

Hard disk space: 16 GB for 32-bit OS 20 GB for 64-bit OS.

Graphics card: DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver.

    Display: 800x600.

Coincidentally, I had a relative of mine on a budget that had 4 gb of RAM, but one of the 2 gb sticks when bad on it. I removed it and worked on her computer to clean it up. Although it was not the fastest computer, it definitely something she could work on
for basic computing and internet surfing.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let me know how it goes.

    Respectfully,

    Fernando Y.

    Upgrading to 32 GB RAM

Hi all, I have 16 GB RAM ( Two 8 GB sticks) and in the near future I want to upgrade to 32 GB RAM. Can I put another two 8 GB sticks near my other two or should I remove both 8 GB sticks and replace them by two 16 GB sticks? Thanks. My motherboard is ROG STRIX B360-H Gaming and CPU is i9 9900K
