Windows 10: Why is my computer automatically unable to connect to WIFI on startup ?

For the past few days, my PC has been unable to connect to my wifi on startup. My onl way of fixing this is running the troubleshooter, hard resetting my pcunplugging it for 10 seconds and then powering it back on, in which I usually have to reset it again. Even after it starts working, the WIFI connection is terrible and everything is slow, this doesn't apply to anything else in my house. Why does this keep happening ? as far as I know, my pc is updated and has no viruses, but the disc space is a little low.

Wifi connect on startup

My home wifi is set to connect automatically but when starting up, a whole list of other wifi networks appear which all show that the "connect automatically" box is checked. This seems to cause problems with my PC seemingly unable to connect straightaway.
How can I stop this happening please

Go see the campus IT gods that handle student network issues. They are there for a reason and may have to redo the setup to allow your unit to connect to the campus network if there was something they had to do before.

Also they can lock out a computer that flags on the system as an issue, and again go see the IT gods on campus.
