Windows 10: Why is my computer becoming unresponsive and slow? Is a part getting old?

It has also been stalling a lot while I use the internet it never used to do these things I'm a retro gamer the most I put my rig through is having a bunch of tabs open and 2 active tabs open one usually a youtube video and the other something I'm reading or whatever, but the most state of the art game I play is probably 'Total War Rome Remastered' some are from the 90s lol. Sometimes it freezes for 7-20 seconds sometimes the mouse moves so slow I have to wait for the nonsense to stop before I can actually use it same with the keyboard. And while I don't have the fastest internet connection

installed windows 10 slow and unresponsive hate it

ever since installing windows 10 slow/unresponsive have done suggestions nothing helped wish I didn't install it. Can not get help with it. Newer laptop, was running great until download. Feel very irritated and might go to Mac.
