Windows 10: Why is my computer opening application multible times and Edge doesn't always load the page.

MY computer is a referbished system I bought about 6 months ago.I am computer oriented and know a good bit about windows 10 OS but this has me buffaloed. LOLOk here is my problems I have seen in the last 2-3 weeks:1. Edge comes back with page not found or unable to load page Hit refresh and it loads most of the time It does this when I am loading open in new tab the majority of the time.2. Multible instances of the same application will open and continue to open until I start trying to figure out what is causing it by opening Task Managerwhen I can get it to open. Why Edge doesn´t open any Google www-sites? I am able to open the same Google-sites with any other browsers.

• Open Microsoft Edge.
• Click on the ". . ." at the top right corner. Select Settings.
• Under Open Microsoft Edge with. Select Specific pages.
• Set the webpages and Save.

'Previous pages' and the 'save a specific set of pages' specified in Settings will not load when opening Edge. Why?

OK, this is really bizarre-

Before I implemented any listed steps, in frustration I loaded Chrome onto the computer with issues. (I've used Chrome before, and had decided to try just using the Edge). On the other computer, I also have Chrome installed.

Since Chrome has been added, Edge now works properly! It loads the pages as its supposed to.

This doesn't make any sense in my world, but it works.... so I no longer have an issue.
