Windows 10: why is my computer so slow suddenly???

I was on my computer doing nothing, but then, my monitor and my keyboard flashed and then my framerate dropped, my computer became slower and more delayed when playing any sort of games and i get the screen tearing lines as if i don't have v sync on. i saw that my memory usage is high now, but i didn't check my memory usage before so i don't know if it's normal. an other additional note is that now when i click on any line of text, even if i didn't wright it, the line that appears when you are writing something, shows. Can someone please help me find a solution without risking the lively hood

COMPUTER SUDDENLY SLOW

Hello-

In the last two days my computer is suddenly displaying the message 'low memory.' It has been fine over many months with zero hold ups even with multiple tabs open. I know when I just have too many tabs open slowing things down, vs a certain certain shopping websites

I ran Microsoft Security Essentials, Malwarebytes and disk check / scan last night -all with no change.

Suggestions?
