    Why is my CPU temperature reading 0 degrees Celsius on known programs?


    After reinstalling Windows 11 to my laptop then reinstalling all the apps that I was using before to monitor my PC performance, I noticed my CPU temperature displaying 0 degrees Celsius. Which it's obviously not right. This issue happens with Armoury Crate and MSI Afterburner. And I can still view actual temperature through the BIOS.

    High CPU Temperatures


    Hi,

    I have been having some high CPU temperatures on my laptop while I have just been using MS Word.
    While this has been happening, I have been looking at the temperatures in HWmonitor, on average it was reading 110 degrees Celsius.
    So I put the laptop into hibernation and and let it cool down to room temperature, when I turned it back on the temperature was reading 85 degrees Celsius. I think that there may be a problem with the temperature sensor, but when Touch the area where the heat is coming out of, it still feels very hot when I am only word processing (HW monitor says 110 degrees celsius).

    concern about temperature

    Greetings! I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. 37 to 51 degree Celsius is a very good temperature to have. It is recommended to have temperature below 75 degree Celsius and anything below 60 degree Celsius is is great.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it resolves the issue.

    1. Launch the Weather app and check the option
    Celusis under Show temperature in:

    OR

    2. Launch the Weather app, right-click with your mouse and click the button marked
    Change to Celsius.
