Windows 10: Why is my daughters holiday been ruined by lock out?

So I got my daughter a laptop to play games over summer holidays. As she has special needs I set up her account and password. Tried to log in and can't - it says wrong password even though it isn't.

Tried twice to recover it and MS say im not providing enough information - I really don't know what more they want.

She is in tears. So do I just dump this machine and start again. Heck, I can even sign in on mY account. This is just abs fantastic MS.

You'll need to do this through Outlook.com (sign in with your Microsoft account)



Once there, click the "down" arrow next to where it says "Outlook" in the top left of the screen and select the Calendar icon.



Once there, you should be able to remove the US holiday calendar (just click on the US Holidays item and then hit the "Delete" button at the bottom of the page that appears).

For instructions and a link to install UK holidays. Where it says "Step 2 - Locate the calendar you want to add", you'll just need to click the hyperlink for United Kingdom in the list of countries.

I can't find the holiday calendar

It's not there. That's the problem. I can see the US Holidays in the Gear Icon, but nothing else.

Please follow the steps and check if it helps,

• login to Outlook account and open calendar
• Click on Gear icon/setting
• Under Filter calendar make sure Calendar is checked.
