  2. Windows 8 Secure Boot Feature: Not So Secure?

So Linux is switching to secure boot also? Or they have to because of UEFI?

  3. Black screen after secure boot enable

Hi and thanks for reaching out. My name is Bernard a Windows fan like you. I'll be happy to help you out today.

I understand the issue you have, there is nothing to worry I am here to help, this is happening due to misconfiguration on the BIOS, I suggest resetting the BIOS to default settings and enabling the secure boot again.

Why is my display blank after enabling secure boot?

Secure boot violation after update and blank screen

Hi, my laptop (ASUS TP550L running Windows 10) updated last night, and when I turned it on this morning the screen immediately displayed a Secure Boot Violation message (invalid signature detected. Check secure boot policy in setup) - clicking ok sent
me to BIOS. Looking online told me to disable the secure boot control, but doing so resulted in the computer going to a blank screen and not doing anything despite my waiting for about three hours. So I re-enabled the secure boot control and am back to the
secure boot violation message. I'm not sure what my options are - if a reset is plssible, what I'd lose, if anything, or if I have another source to boot from given that I don't have a CD or USB to do it from - so I'd appreciate any help or suggestions.
