Windows 10: Why is my husbands desktop opening 100000s of calculators even without touching it

The last 2 days my husbands win10 desktop has an issue it's opening 100000 calculators they keep opening up even when he closes them down. They open when not even touching the computer with it idle they still open without a keyboard connected


He uninstalled the calculator and had boxes saying Ms calculator.Exe needed to find another application to open it




he has tried rebooting he has tried virus scanning he has tried resetting back to factory its not the keyboard as it happens without one connected it happens when disconnected from Internet even when system is idle


It's now at the point the system is unusable please help

Calculator Will not Open

I would suggest you to provide some information to help you better.

• 
  Are you facing this issue on a local account or the Microsoft account?
  
• 
  Are you facing this issue with the built in calculator or the calculator app?
  

If it is a built in Calculator I would suggest you to check if you can open and check the status.

• 
  Press Windows + R keys.
  
• 
  Type calc and hit Enter
  and check the status if its opening.
  

I would also suggest you to try creating a new user account
and check if issue persists.

Yes, it works on 8.1, at least on my surface pro 3.

Couldn't do a screenshot cause can't get to Snipping tool while keyboard is up, so I did a "step recording". See attached. Pardon the background, it's my Granddaughter! Cheers! *Cool
