Windows 10: why is my internet going away

router A is in the living room and the main internet wire is going into it. router B is in my bedroom and i connected a long network wire from A to B and the network wire is going to port number 4 in the router and the light of the port is on

the internet is spoiling in my room and when that happens the light of port number 4 is off. i have to unplug the network wire from port number 4, then i switch off the router, then i plug in the network wire and then i switch on the router and the light is coming back on in port number 4 and then the internet comes back in my room. it works for a few days and then the light of port number 4 goes off again and i have to repeat the steps to fix it

before the internet used to spoil in my room once every month. now it spoils once every few days. what is going on? is the fault on:-
1) head of the network wire and i have to cut the head and connect a new head to the wire
2) router settings are bad and i am getting invalid ip address
3) router is bad

If want to disable IE, still can. However, can't uninstall it like were able to in XP/98/whatever.
Here's how, although I find it useful in case Chrome or Firefox stops working and have to re-download it. *Wink
1. Search for turn windows features on or off and click it in the search results.

I suggest you to set Internet Explorer as default web browser and restart the computer and see if it helps.

Disable Proxy

Sometimes using proxy to connect to the internet may cause issues while connecting to the network.

Follow the steps below to disable proxy:

• Press “Windows Key” + “R”.
• Type “inetcpl.cpl”.
• Go to Connection.
• Click on LAN Settings.
• Check the box which says Automatically detect settings.
• Uncheck the box under Proxy server.

Run Internet Connection Troubleshooter

Though you are able to use internet, there could be some problems or some settings which could have stopped Windows services to connect to the internet.

I suggest you to run the Internet connection troubleshooter to fix such issues, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R
• Type Control
• Click on Troubleshooting
• Click on Connect to the internet
• Click on Next and follow the On-screen instructions
