Windows 10: why is my internet speed faster than my download speed in my windows 8.1 ?

hello i need help with my download speed my device is windows 8.1 my internet is good but when it comes to download something it takes along time from the longest things that take me so much time are the 1 gb things like they take me 2 hours to be in my device and my maximum in downloads are 1.5 mb/s anyone give me please a answer

Internet speed

The faster your internet connection, the less time it takes to download large files from the internet. Unless you routinely download massive files from the internet - like entire movies in high definition - your download speed of 1 Gbps is complete overkill.
It won't make your day-to-day web browsing any faster.

When you download content from the internet, the content routinely passes through a dozen or more server computers on the way to your computer. A problem with any of those servers will slow your download, regardless of what speed you are paying for.

Unless you are paying an amazingly cheap price, 1 Gbps download speed is totally unnecessary.
