Windows 10: Why is my internet/WiFi, especially when browsing the web, slow on my laptop with very good...

I have a problem and it seems to gradually get worse. My internet on my laptop has been performing horribly. When using an application such as a game that requires internet it runs okay but not great. When browsing the web it is absolutely horrible.

I use Firefox. Tabs will take forever to load. The internet connection will become so week that it won’t even register clicks. Web pages will often load partially and lag. It’s overall a very poor browsing experience.

I’m so confused as to why this is happening. It seems to be getting worse overtime. It’s so strange because the WiFi bar always shows full or almost full strength. My laptop is pretty good as far as laptops go. Here are it’s specs:

GTX 1060 Max-Q 16 GB RAM 128 GB SSD + 1TB HDD 6-core i7 processor

The other strange thing is that I connect to the same WiFi network on my phone and it works fine. It’s not the fastest but it gets the job done.

I ran a speed test on my phone and the trailer were 15.6 Mbps download and 10.5 Mbps upload. But on my laptop, it’s 1.23 Mbps download and 9.62 Mbps upload, on THE SAME NETWORK. What the heck?

I’ve tried a ton of fixes and tweaked settings but I can’t figure out the issue.

Please help if you can, I would really appreciate it.

Slow web browsing after windows 10 upgrade

Hi

I have upgraded to Windows 10 recently. After the upgrade browsing internet through wifi has slowed down drastically. Its all most like connecting through good old dial up connection. It should be noted that the issue is only in wifi and I have absolutely
no issues while connected through the ethernet. Web browsing through wifi in all other devices such as mobiles has absolutely no issues. Its only my laptop which seems to have the issue.

I have checked with my ISP and there does not seem to be any issues with broad band speed. I have a dell inspiron laptop.

Unable to figure out the issue. Request help from the community is resolving the issue

Not able to browse Internet in certain Wifi Networks

I have a Windows 10 Home Single Language on my Dell G3 15 Laptop. The issue that I'm facing is with Internet browsing.

In my home WiFi network, I'm able to browse internet. But when I try connect to my university network or mobile hotspot, I'm able to browse only in the initial few seconds (around 20 Seconds or less). After that the webpage does not load. The WiFi symbols
shows connected.

When I connect to my university network via LAN, I don't face any issue.

Can anyone suggest any solution for this issue?
