Windows 10: Why is my laptop showing random colors

When i try to boot up my laptop, it shows some random colors. it was doing that before but usually I'd just connect a monitor through hdmi and it would work, but now that doesn't works aswell. i tried using another cable, moving the port and even tried another laptop to the monitor to see if it worksWhat can i do to repair it

How do I prevent Windows 10 from randomly changing my color and sound themes? (i.e. turn from dark to light, equalization on to off etc.)

Thank you Bianca. I read the article you suggested but unfortunately it speaks of a different problem (change of background picture) and it does not even provide a solution to it.

I am in quest of a solution that works to resolve the specific problem I listed (block random changes of settings in particular regarding color and sound ), and clear step by step instructions that work on any
laptop that run on Windows 10 standard latest edition and can be implemented by common users (on many posts, solutions that do not match reality are proposed, so they are unusable and often even dangerous, when they suggest to fiddle with registry keys for
instance).

 

Changing the taskbar color to white in Windows 10

In Windows 10 there is no option for changing the color to white but you can change it to different colors. To change the color of the task bar I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then select personalization.
• Click on color option on the left side.
• You will find an option called “show color on start, taskbar and start icon”.
• You need to on the option and then you can change the color accordingly.
