    Why is my laptop using so much RAM even when idle?


    Only 1.8gb of the RAM is cached.I've tried many solutions, but none of them have seemed to work:-Run memory diagnostics-End unnecessary processes-Disabled startup apps I didn't need-Restored corrupted files with DISMDoes anybody have a solution, or is this just normal?
