Windows 10: why is my Logitech MX Master 3s disconnecting

Reandomly, my mouse stops working under W11 - I don't remember it doing that under W10.Other than that it works fine.To work around that I go to Task Manager and select "Switch user" and relogin. It starts working fine again till next time it stops.Obviously, it isn't the mouse battery. I have reinstalled the mouse driver and logitech options.What do I need to do to fix this?

I tried all the possible fixes you suggested but to no avail.

The only thing that's left for me to do is reinstall the OS.

Should I go ahead and do that?

And also should I talk to Logitech since I am facing the Bluetooth auto-connect issue only with the Keys and the Master 3S?

Hi. I recently built a new PC. Everything's working fine, except for a couple of things:

1. My Logitech MX Keys and MX Master 3S wireless keyboard and mouse do not auto-connect to the computer when I boot the device. I have to manually connect them instead each time. I also use a wireless neckband (Oppo Enco M32), which has no issues connecting to the same computer. I dug into Bluetooth advanced options and enabled the "Automatic" setting as advised here: Redirecting and tried all the other workarounds suggested.

2. I am using Windows 11 Pro. It's up-to-date, except for trouble installing this: 2023-07 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5028851). I followed the instructions shared here to set that right Redirecting but to no avail.

What could be wrong? Is the 2nd issue somehow related to the above issue?

Kindly help. I am clueless.

I'm glad to hear from you, if the above attempts don't work, we suspect that there is something wrong with your system files. I suggest you reinstall your system first (please be assured that the above step of overriding the installation usually does not affect your data and apps, he will only update most of your system files), and check if the problem is solved after reinstallation.



If the Bluetooth problem persists after reinstallation. Since the system files and settings are updated at this point, then the problem may be related to Logitech's products, and it is recommended that you get in touch with Logitech's technical support.
