Windows 10: Why is my mic suddenly so quiet after getting windows 11

Just got windows 11 and already got a lot of problems my mic wasnt loud enough like before and it was hard to hear me. Any ideas?

Mic Suddenly Quiet on GOXLR

After trying these fixes nothing changed, mic still way to quiet. Also just to clarify, my mic is picked up just fine, but it's very quiet and I have to turn the gain up in the GOXLR software which compromises quality greatly.

I'll try to contact their support when their website isn't down as it has been for the past few days. Anymore help would be wonderful if you can provide it.

 

Laptop microphone suddenly too quiet for people to hear me

This week the microphone on my laptop has suddenly become too quiet and people can't hear me in meetings.

My laptop is only a year old, I'm using Windows 11 and everything is up to date.

I've done the trouble shoot on the mic and it says there are no problems.

My mic volume is set to 100 but I am still really, really quiet.

I have tried using headphones but this didn't improve the problem either.

I work remotely so this is very problematic for me!
