Windows 10: Why is my Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop Keyboard repeatedly turning off while I use it?

I am using the MS Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop set. The mouse works well, but the keyboard shuts off while I am typing. I have tried the following with no luck: changing the batteries, uninstalling and reinstalling the MS Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop set keyboard and mouse from the device manager, and restarting my computer. I also tried plugging the USB dongle into another port, but it did not affect the keyboard. I use a Dell laptop, and I have tried using the keyboard with a MacBook Pro laptop, but the same problem occurred. When the keyboard turns off, I must press on keys until it randomly turn

I suggest you to get in touch with the Microsoft Hardware
Support to know about the replacement criteria. Meanwhile, you may also go through the
Warranty Limit Manual given under Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop.

Bluetooth Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard

Is anyone aware if Microsoft is considering releasing bluetooth version of the Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard (or Desktop)?

In my opinion, it would be a great step forward for this great product.

I would suggest that you download the Mouse and Keyboard Center 11. You can use it to connect and configure the Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop with your PC.
