Windows 10: Why is my new desktop running so slow???

I have a Dell inspiron 5490 AIO all in one computer, it has 16GB of RAM, 512 GB of SSD, with an intel core i7 10th gen processor. It should all be running fast and working well, but when I try to do basic things like open support assist and download add ons to origin, I get a notifcation that an error occured, try again later, stuff like that. I had bought this same model and same specs but i5 instead of i7 and it was running perfect and very fast, but this computer even though it has higher specs is way slower, and not able to handle minimal tasks, even though it has a higher processor. What should i do to fix this problem and does anyone have tips or the same problem. Ive updated everything but it shpuld not be taking so long or being so slow, as its a brand new top of the line computer.

I would suggest you to run System maintenance troubleshooter.

Try the followings steps:

• 
  Click "Search" and type "Troubleshooting" without quotes and hit enter.
  
• 
  Select "System maintenance"
  
• 
  Click next to run the troubleshooter.

I would suggest you to Run Maintenance task

The Run maintenance task checks issues that might slow down your computer's, such as how many users are currently logged on to the computer and whether multiple programs are running at the same time.

Follow the below steps.

• 
  Press Windows + X on the keyboard.
  
• 
  Select Control Panel.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on Run maintenance task under
  System and Security.

New Apps not showing anywhere

I would suggest you add create a shortcut to these programs in the Desktop till we fix this issue. You can right click on the frequently used programs and select 'Send to Desktop' to create a shortcut for that program in Desktop. To troubleshoot this issue,
I would suggest you to try the following steps and check:

• Open an Administrator CMD window. If you can’t find a way, use these steps:
  
• Press CTRL+Shift+ESC to open Task Manager.
• Click File > Run New Task
• Make sure you have a check mark beside “Create this task with administrative privileges”
  
• Type CMD
• Type the following commands at the CMD prompt:
  
  dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
  
  sfc /scannnow

Try these steps and let us know the results.
